WMSC Travel Overview
West Morris Soccer Club aims to offer its members developmental soccer opportunities in an appropriately competitive environment. Across the club, our goal is to offer teams at all levels, across all age groups. Our Travel program is a great next step for those players looking for a higher competition level than recreational soccer. Tryouts typically take place each Spring, conducted by our professional training organization, and rosters are formed based upon evaluations after tryouts and from previous in-season player performance evaluations.

U8-U14
Travel soccer begins with the U8 age group and continues on to U-18. U8-U14 requires players to commit to a ten-week fall and ten-week spring season; two 90-minute practice sessions per week and one game most weekends. All travel teams are also budgeted to participate in one tournament per year. Most WMSC Travel teams will play in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association league and a handful may compete in EDP, depending on team performance.
U15-U18 (Spring-only high school soccer)
Involves a player commitment to a 10-week spring season; two 90-minute practice sessions per week led by assigned professional trainer, and one game per week. Teams most often play in MCYSA and occasionally in EDP youth soccer leagues, depending on team performance. All travel teams are also budgeted to participate in one tournament per year.
Fees
$825 for 7v7 (U9-U10) and $885 for all other age groups (U-11 and up) divided into two payments.
The first payment of approximately half is due upon acceptance into team, typically one week after tryouts in the Spring. The first payment is non-refundable, with second and final payment due by October 31st using same credit card used for the initial payment.
